OPS participates in IGEM 2012

On October 10th to 13th, 2012, OPS took part in the 3rd International Green-Tech and Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (IGEM). This year, with the theme of “Greentech for Growth,” IGEM organisers aimed to help push the rapid adoption of green technology to deliver a double impact of sustainable economic growth as well as to address the environmental and energy security issues.

OPS was amongst 600 exhibitors from all corners of the globe accommodating over 60,000 visitors. Strategically located in the middle amongst other industry players, OPS had many interests from people with different backgrounds. OPS Malaysia Marketing Director, Dasyariwani Daud was in charge of organizing the booth and did a fantastic job with the set up. The contrast of the different colours whilst showcasing the HPC-10 proved to be a success.

According to OPS Engineer Ivan Livic,
“IGEM proved to be a success. I believe that it created great awareness for the renewable energy industry and really portrayed the importance of Green Technology and Eco Products. It was a great platform to showcase some of our latest products, operating systems and remote monitoring. 2012/2013 looks to be a very busy period and we are extremely excited for what’s to come.”

Participation in IGEM 2012 has been extremely important due to its significant positioning in the industry. It has achieved its foothold as the largest green exhibition within the region and has continuously grown in pursuit to gather like-minded industry players and professional from all sectors. In recent years, it has been evident with the increased number of participants ranging from various sectors, public and private, big and small, local and foreign, new as well as established, to explore and seize the opportunities from the exciting and emerging green market in the country and the region.
